This is my first ever print with silver leaf, and is the first gel plate print I have made of this Whale limerick design.

After last weeks chaotic overlapping rainbow design, I wanted to print something simpler and cleaner. Once it was ready, I thought it looked a little too clean so I cut some stencils to cover the silver and the whale, and I used a toothbrush to flick white, yellow, and dark blue paint over the background.
 
It's another unique piece from one of my original designs as I continue to explore new techniques.
 
I have painted this motif twice one the street - once in Camden around 2018, and once at Gnome House in Walthamstow in 2020. 
 
It comes in a wooden frame with real glass.
