This is a unique hand-made gel plate monoprint, made by me in my home studio.

It comes in a genuine oak frame.
 
These gel plate prints are all hand-made by me in my studio. The process involves rolling a thin layer of black acrylic paint on to the gel plate, then using a prepared print of the text layer to remove all the unwanted black paint, which leaves behind a mirror image of the text layer in paint on the plate. Background layers are applied on top of the text layer in reverse order, before the print is finally taken up from the plate onto the cartridge paper using a layer of wet paint.
